This is in Southern France, in 'Departement de la Drome'. Exposure is not great, I didn't have any ND grad filters on at the time, unfortunately. But it's a nice view anyway! I had just finished a 1000 vertical metre climb (on my bicycle). This was the reward, totally worth it!!
I guess I could do some real doctoring and fill them in with sky from the pictures. I've done that before! But the black areas were a bit large in this one. Anyway, next time I will take my panoramics vertically to have more leeway to play. Cheers, Marc
Of course you are right that the cliff is the most important element of the picture. Still, the shot looks incomplete with the large black spots on the edge, you have to find a way to cut them out. Yours, György
Yes, the cut is not great. Ideally I would have taken 4 or 5 vertical shots to get everything. I'm not a huge fan of your crop, because to me one of the main points of interest is the large cliff on the left. thanks for the input though, it is appreciated! Cheers, Marc
