Hi James,
Beautiful horse! Lovely composition, you have caught a wonderful alert expession on his gorgeous face. I do tend to agree with Amy, a little more shoulder would have been nice, and for me personally, I would have liked a little more light so I could see the ears and mane a smidgeon clearer.

Very nice James! I'd include a little more shoulder (think of a horse as a person - portraits are head and shoulder), and I'd love to see more ear (and the ear further from the top crop). I LOVE the lighting! Very dramatic!
