Thank you Jim for you appreciation. Yes the flower in background looks floating in air (though it ws another flower in bush behind the main two) I needed a high shutter speed (1/1000 sec) to darken the bush - but couldnot help to exclede the shrubs below the front pair. It was bright daylight - at 12 o clock noon. But I think the green shubs below the front flowers gives a more realastic feeling to the picture.
Generally this composition is best taken for water flowers like water lily - where the second flower flats in water and gives the pseudo floating feeling as you have pointed.
