you have great eyes Marc, congratulation for this good look and analyze,that's more valuable...
I'm agree with your comment, yes the light is too hard . a bit out of focus is from my scanner or perhaps me!
but about composition I choose this composition because I want this cropping the left side where the ball is going out of the frame.
anyway,
I absolutely agree with you , it ' s not a professional and technical shot...

What a personal poetical shot my friend....your title impress me. you have delicate soul!i realy like this cropping the left side where the ball is going out of the frame(out of this world), just pitty for expose and light. anyway, Dear Mary.......Koodaky bood cho raftan ba bad/ zire paman hame khar, amma shad!

Hi Mary,
Sorry to say I do not share the other reviewers appreciation of your picture.
The focus is not perfect, the light is too hard (picture taken too close to noon, try it earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon), the colours are faded, and the main subject (the boy) is in the shadow (you took the picture almost facing the sun). Last but not least, the ball is cut.
Good point though, for not putting the main subject in the center of the frame.
Don't take it badly, I'm just trying to be constructive and helpful.
