Ok, to do this you will right click on the background layer in the layer pallet and select the "Duplicate Layer" option - hit enter on the next screen. Click on the new layer to select it and go to the "mode" box - scroll down the list to multiply or overlay to see the results. Since you haven't played with the layers, I encourage you to select them all and see the results on the left as you do - you can then adjust the opacity to your liking. It's pretty cool. BTW - PS CS2 has some GREAT new features added too that I am in love with. :)

Hi Cheryl. wow thanks for all the constructive advice and tips. I just have to work out how to do and where to find some of the things you mentioned..lol I am very green. I would love to bring out his eye color which is a beautiful green, no idea how to do those things you mentioned tho. Thanks for taking the time to comment very much appreciated.

Love this shot Alison! The only suggestion is that you can really play up the scene by adding a duplicate layer set to multiply and another set to overlay with adjusted opacity levels to taste. I attached an example to show how they play with the photo for you below. What a lucky shot to grab the water like that.
