About Taken at Glendale, AZ Historic Saguaro Ranch Park. Poultry of all kinds run loose here, and just happened to catch this fella coming over to where we were talking - looking for a free lunch I would imagine. Just struck me as funny that he was actually crossing in the crosswalk like a good law-abiding citizen. Not a very memorable photo, but wanted to share it with you. Slight change of pace from what I usually post.

It was one of those "looking down" moments - sure didn't want to step on one or get pecked or something. Caught another one I am tempted to load - it's just as cute. Just may do it tonight - check back later. LOL Jan

Thanks Margaret - you are right - could have tried forever to get that dude to cooperate and it probably never would have happened. Thought about cropping - just wasn't sure if the cross-walk would be recognized as a cross-walk all over the world. Besides - wanted to show off my pretty black Nissan Maxima that I got just before I retired last year! Love that car. LOL Jan

I think this one is terrific -- and funny too! You could never have "posed" it and you have a great eye for catching perfect moments.

And he's in a cross-walk? OF COURSE you had to take the shot.

Tooooo funny, Janice.

It's gotta be cos he's trying to escape from photographers. It must be the same one I captured in UK a week ago. ) See:-

Janice - I think it is great, one of those 'great fun moments' that you can imagine someone trying to 'set up' for hours LOL I think it would also make a great composition cropped
