Many thanks for your great comment, Brigitte, and for taking the time to think about how to improve this particular image. Bearing in mind this one dates from several years ago, I would certainly process and present this differently now, based on what I have learnt in the intervening period.

I just discovered your portfolio and have to say I am very impressed with your great work and your creativity. This is such a wonderful find... great eye you have. I love it. 7+++
Just for fun, I thought I'd see if I can help it a little... so I straightened, recropped, cleaned up and sharpened a little bit and reframed... see what you think. Sepia toned looked wonderful too.

The three mouse(k)eaters is what i would have titled this image. John another of your impressive frames and a well deserved BIP.
The framing is perfect though i realize you couldn't have done anything to place them equidistant and lighting to me seems fine, but i guess you are the photographer here.And the threesome standout against Tat shabby backwall
I also liked your work with Compact Discs, mundane objects but a very creative approach.

Unreal! This is a delightful capture. Can't believe how they've curled up so perfectly spaced and in the same angle, position and everything. The added attraction is their diverse coats. Way to go, and congrats on the well-deserved BIP!! (a Fav)

Almost uncanny, the similarities in their poses and positions. Incredible spot, AJ. Renata deserves a big prize!
Simply beautiful.
Maybe it would also work very well in a B&W version, without the colour to "distract" this would be an even stronger image.

Hi Armando! It's a difficult call, that one. I tried moving the levels but didn't like the loss of detail. I finally decided to leave it as it was, as I felt the subdued tones suited the drowsy atmosphere better.
