hi, it is a cement skateboard park with curved bowls and high curved walls....if you have never seen skaters do their gravity defying tricks, you should see if your area has outdoor events scheduled this summer...Tony Hawk (pro skater for many years) usually does a touring show in different cities...i will post one showing a skater at the top of ramp so you get a better idea of their challenge...you can also see them on TV sport channels and even online in short action videos...thrilling to watch! Thanks for comment..

Unique abstract view Gayle! Had to look at it several times and still didn,t "see" what it was, even with your explanation!! But, very viewable!! Regards--Bill Voizin

As kids, we used to have many skateparks in the early '80's. Something about smooth flowing curving cement that still appeals to me.

cool image of burnside, an amazing park, empty, which is a tough one to capture... when i was there it was jammed, only critique is the hole is almost dead center in frame, would have liked it being off center or not in frame, shooting maybe low and left of the pool and the giant vert wall that is on that side
