Thank you for your comments John.

Yes... does kinda look like they are sitting on his nose don't it.. lol

As for the chicken wire... apparently these camels have a very affectionate bite... we were assured that they are not harmed at all... in fact treated like royalty... so I believe the chicken wire is a harmless muzzle there to protect the passengers.

Took me a while to work this out. From the thumbnail it looked like the two people were sitting on the camel's nose! But now looking closer, it all becomes clear - except why is the camel's face covered in chicken wire?! Great perspective.

Thanks for the comment Alastair.... The camel ride was great fun... trying to take photo's whilst laughing my head off is a moment I will never forget... tee hee... just amazed these shots didn't come out all blurred!

These photo's where taken in Lanzarote... I believe the dark sand is from all the volcanic ash still lying around... apparently it's great stuff to bring on a sun tan!

Cracking shot Sue... looks like fun too!!! I'm surprised at how dark the ground is... for some reason I had always assumed it to be more yellow in the desert! Excellent... thanks for sharing it!
