About My old black on black Chuck Taylor hi-top recycled into a succulent plant container...the toning and contrast level reminded me of the old civil war prints you see in books...just paying tribute to the good times that shoe and i had BEFORE it set foot there!...comments/critiques appreciated

A magical mixture of tradition and cutting edge imagination. You're always able to present your vision with a touch of class and a genuine sense of purpose. Good ol Chucky Taylors, eh? I like your loyalty.. ..Brad

Joyful memories come with high-key tone in mind, and sad memories come in dark or real black,it might be a natural phenomena of the human mind I think.Good presentation of good memories in old sneaker.

I kind of see it more in a square format, tighter crop. EVerything else is very eye-catching, especially the old Converse shoe.

Ahhh, this one's kinda sad. It's like that Kinks/Ray Davies song "Where Have All the Good Times Gone" (seems to be a spreading feeling with people I know these days) As far as the shot I really like what you did with it - all in all tells a strong story. All the best, Mark

Hi Gayle - I was about to nag about the shoe falling out of the pic, but I've changed my mind. The on-the-border placement works, makes it more poignant as a memento. Great toning also. /Hansi
