This is actually a resubmition of a very similar image. I toned down the saturation and used a different angle - sorry, Ellen - I will end up posting the other version soon. Which... makes me wonder why I removed the other version... if I was only going to post both later... Idiot... Enjoy.
This shot was taken at - guess what? - The Albuquerque Botanical Gardens. I figured since I didn't have any pictures from there, I'd post this one. [insert sarcasm here] This is a shot of some small purple flowers that were begining to fade. Thought it made a decent picture.
Actually, I didn't saturate it that much. I did have a previous version that was VERY oversaturated, but I didn't do much to this one. It does look oversaturated at the stamen - I'm not sure whether it's oversaturation or random "corrosion" from the fading of the flower.
PS, I enjoy your comments quite a bit, Angelo. They're very useful. Thanks for that. :)
This is a nice composition, Morgan. I like the placement of the two flowers, which is very effective.
I am not so hot on the oversaturation. It is showing in the stamen quite a bit. When it shows that obviously, it's overdone for my taste. Just my opinion, of course.
