Many thanks, Marian. Next time I do a CD session I will try to remember to take some shots of the setup. But there is really very little to it: I really do just use an ordinary desklamp and take the shots on my desk at home. The trick is to find the perfect position for the camera and the lamp - a slight movement of either can completely change the result.
