About	Found this guy munching on the leaves of this vine while basking in the early morning light. There was a really good light this morning that lasted for several hours. I was scrambling to find subjects while the light was at its best. Nikon D100 Nikon 300mm f/4d ED-IF Kenko extension tubes 1/40th @ f/8 Early morning light @ 7:01am ISO-200 Tripod Location: Bonnet Carre' Spillway, Norco, Louisiana *********************** This species is found throughout the Eastern USA. It inhabits wet areas and is particularly common on the vegetation around ponds, swamps and in coastal salt marshes.

Ronnie,

You know I'm a fan. What you may not know is that I'm a little bug-phobic. Just a little. While I always admire every image you post, sometimes I get a little fight or flight surge (flight, mostly) when I see these up close and personal bugs!

The lighting is incredible here. Your ability to capture these creatures so realistically continues to amaze me.
