Dear Tamara, I agree, the contrast is too high. I do this "adjusting" on a Mac G4 regular home computer and then later when I look at it on my Mac G4 powerbook it always looks different. I think my regular monitor needs adjusting. It's not a flatscreen, just a regular TV type monitor - everything looks better and CLEARER on the powerbook. I gotta be careful. I really like these colors. They definitely look like watermelons! I also like how you have framed the shot. There's a lot of space in it, but the boats fill it well.
However, I was wondering if this could do with a little less contrast? It seems to me that the colors could come through just as effectively, without having to lose some of the detail that you tend to lose by increasing the contrast to this extent... What do you think?
