You have quite beautiful eyes, they draw you into the photo. Not so keen on the bottom half of image, and the slight over exposure. I would suggest a crop to focus on the eyes, I've had a quick go (hope you don't mind). Just lowered the overall brightness slightly, and a little USM. See what you think,

Michelle - I believe it is a nice portrait -- it is tight but I believe it works in this arrangement. I do think Carol's suggestions are just right. I took a shot at editing the photograph [hope you do not mind]. Simply increased the contrast and applied a USM setting of 50/0.6/5 [pretty subtle] and I think both improve the portrait nicely. Good work!

Very pretty Michelle. I would suggest maybe a tad more contrast and maybe sharpening up her eyes a little...( in Phot Shop with the "unsharp" tool..What about adding some magenta and yellow (sepia) to give is a little more warmth?
