Nice color toning... I love the high key effect. You have managed to keep it subtle even though the lighting is bright.

Judy, this is so pretty, I really like the blown out look. Somehow this reminds me of a girl straight out of the early 70's! Nice feel.

Hi Judy, beautiful portrait. Very pretty model too. Gorgeous tones.
The only thing I could think of with the hot spots, was to maybe crop it. I don't think it would detract from it at all. Just an idea.
Have a great day,
Liz

Hehe, as soon as I opened it up I thought.. heeeey, that looks so much like mine ;) Cool shot. I like your 'pretty and innocent' feel.

I love this - very nice capture of her beautiful eyes. I love that shot too (Amanda's). Well done here Judy with your version - it's beautiful.

Judy,
No way to correctly compensate for overexposure in the digital world. Only way to fix it, is to check your highlights (or histogram) on your screen as you shoot, or spotmetering would have helped. Underexposure (though more noisy) is always easier to fix afterward than overexposed highlights when shooting digital. If you're shooting negative film, the opposite apply's. One of the crosses to carry when shooting digital. :)

She's beautiful and the portrait is a little overexposed on the hair but it's still very nice.
Well done!

Yes, her hair is definitely overexposed. It was shot about 1pm in the afternoon and the sun was very bright. I just couldn't seem to figure out how to correct this in photoshop. Any suggestions?

Gorgeous tones! A little overexposed in the hair area, but that may have been intentional for all I know! :) Regardless, a beautiful portrait!!
