About I had heard a lot about the Duncansby stacks and decided to take the 100 mile drive to the extreme northern tip of main land Britain to see them for myself. This isn't the classic view this one requires a walk of about two miles along a crumbling cliff top. No complaints from me though, the weather was wonderful and the views quite breathtaking. Summer light illuminated the grass covered cliffs and bobbing pink of the sea thrift while below the stacks like dragons teeth are surrounded by various hues of azure and blue as the swirling sea slowly eats away at the granite.
