The sun and the small flares and clouds lead the eye down to the beautiful textures and cololurs in the field. There is certainly nothing wrong with a picture that you like. That's what art is all about, isn't it--creativity, freedom, and presenting what you like? Mary

Who am I to spoil your being pleased with a photo of yours, dear Judi? Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Figure in colors 2"," Light from within 2" and "Clay dolls." I attach a somewhat improved version of the latter. Best regards, Rafi

I think this photo's great. Sometimes you need to capture nature's surroundings just as it is. I feel as if I'm there, relaxing in the sun. Perfectly captured.

Hi Judi, just stopped here while checking emails, and found this one, it may be different, but there is nothing out there telling nature, that this shot breaks all the rules.....I think it's very unique, and your about, says it very well. liz

Thanks Ameedie.....I was considering removing it as it doesn't seem to be too popular with the viewers...but oh well. I am going to be out most of the day on another job...so I will check it when I get back in.

Sometimes the imperfections are what make the shot a keeper, Judi. It certainly works in this case. I think the blowout from the sun adds to the intensity of it. Nice job.

Thanks Carolyn. Yes I did use a lens hood....actually I had the camera low down on the ground but because of the rocks and the bright sun I had great difficulty seeing what I was taking....that is why I call it a mishap. LOL!!
