Thank you Roger, I do not like to over saturate things, I would rather have them look more normal in most instances. Digital photography is so much better than film for me as I can get what I want much easier. Thanks Roger, your comments are most appreciated. Don.

An amazing macro! I've recently started taking macros, but nothing nearly as close as THIS. Wow! I notice you resist the pressure to boost saturation... For me, that's part of the appeal of this wonderful macro with its subtle colours and astonishing detail!

First thing I did was add this to my favorites. You mean we can grow lilacs (one of my favorite flowers) here? Really like both the composition and the presentation. The colors, DOF, and details are outstanding. Yep, really need to get a macro lens. Hope this one goes in to the contest. Jan
