This is a sight to see!!! The architecture of the building in the middle is very beautiful! How strange that the building and the river seem to have almost the same colour.

Hi Don, nice city scape. It might just be me, or an illusion created by the perspective, but the photo looks a bit tilted clockwise.

Cheers,

Hugo

Amazing how they were able to build like that, and a good capture of it, Don!

Hi Petal, After this was taken about 30 days I had my pacemaker put in and have been feeling much better since that time. So guess I got better fast. Thanks, Don.

Very nice shot! Like it how you've captured the view through/under the building as well. Great perspective and composition. BTW here in Maastricht we've got a similar building... that is, not the architecture, but one build over a (very small) river... I'll take a shot of it and show you sometime... Nice how you've captured the holy ghost as well (and it's a pharmacy, so either you get better very fast or you're going to meet him real quick)... LOL!!!

Very nice shot, Don. The water looks about as muddy as the old Missouri. Great perspective. Looks like your are standing in the water. Regards, Larry.

This is a wonderful composition my friend; the details are excellent in this wonderful example of old German architecture; the colours are great and it is a shot that is so reminiscent Of Venice Don. I haven't seen this place but I have seen similar scenes outside of Venice. I have been to Venice on a business trip (4/5 days) BUT failed to pack a camera. Great stuff my friend, best wishes, 'see' you soon....Ray

Hi Don, I guess this is what I thought Venice might look like! :0) Old and stately...that tree is a great touch!

This is just a small river running through the town. The border was created by Edge Collections. Email me if you want information. Email address is in bio. Thanks. Don.

Hi Ann, I shot this from a bridge. It is over a small river. If you look at http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=827231
this picture you will see another view. It doesn't look very good for that building when the water would rise . How would you like to live on the upper floors of one of these buildings?? You can see the dormer windows. Thanks for the great comments. Don.

What an interesting scene Don. Shades of Venice Italy. Do they boat around there too or are they storm water canals. I don't think I'd like to be on a lower floor in a flash flood. I guess you could call this absolute waterfront property huh?! :) Great shot. Did you shoot this from a bridge or another building? Thanks for sharing this. Most interesting.

Cheers - Ann :)

what an interesting image with that lovely border. I didn't know the whole town are located in the water.
I wonder how did you create it.
