About	I noticed this closed shoe repair store that had been in this upscale neighborhood for probably decades judging by the gold leaf lettering. No doubt the space will soon be filled with the plastic retail outlet of a faceless corporate conglomerate rather than an individual supplying a needed and valuable skill. And there goes the neighborhood.

I love this style of photography...It tells a story....Or gives me "something" to look at... even without the about...Altho the about makes it interesting.

This photo is full of drama, yet is so calm. Enjoyed reading the comments in about too. I could picture this image in a magazine complete with a full story of the shop and it's owner. Judging by the age of the camera, it seems to be the right horse for the course......and a perfect marriage. Beautiful, creative & introspective work. Thank you.
