Well, it's always interesting to hear from a photographer why the photo was shot the way it was. Personaly, I also rearly use a central composition when shooting florals. What I like the most about this photo is a almost perfect color (and lighting) match between the flower and it's background. That way it can gradualy and completely fade to the background. I would appreciate your opinion on one of my photos (http://www.usefilm.com/image/758636.html) as it is probably the closest one to your style.

Thank you so much. I will be travelling through Nebraska soon twice a month and I have noticed similar pastoral scenes like the wonderful images you post. I'm hoping to have a well lit day so that I can show you how the United States farmland looks.
