About	Newport, Rhode Island, United States, October 1th, 2004. Carey mansion is now part of Salve Regina University. It was built between 1927 and 1929. It has seen better days... This picture was taken with a Certo-phot camera. It was built in East Germany about 40 years ago. The shutter speed is fixed and there's only 2 aperture to choose from (f/8 and f/11). It operates like an Holga camera. It is however a sturdier camera with its metal body. The negative was scanned with an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo scanner. Thanks for your comments. Regards, Claude

Wonderful look and tone. The illusion of a slight slant - I mean at this place, not that the image's compo is slanting - adds to the atmosphere of a place going downhill so to speak. Very atmospheric. /Hansi
