Thanks very much Kathy and Michael. What a beautiful creature. I brought this photo to work to show around and the discussion arose as to how butterflies got their name. Interestingly one theory is that in the Middle Ages they were thought to steal milk and butter. I read that the German word for butterfly is something like 'milk robber'. Words are interesting to me. Fascinatingly beautiful creatures. . .
