I like the proportions of the image which, along with the white background gives it a gallery framed look. Your timing, with a digicam's known deficiencies in shutter response, is a marvel!

Thanks John. There have been a few comments on the format, and I guess it breaks all sorts of "rules". But it seemed appropriate for the subject and cut out unnecessary clutter. I've taken hundreds of these, and no doubt will take hundreds more (though perhaps some different fruit might create a splash in the near future...)
