It is always such a good feeling to get a bird in flight at all isn't it. My partner Den Thompson likes to get birds in flight using his big lense so I appreciate how difficult it is. Good capture given the circumstances, the detail is and colours are excellent and perhaps it could take a little sharpening etc without spoiling it

You Shot and you scored with this one Pat. I don't know anyone who would have gotten a better inflight capture while laying on their back. You did an OUTStanding Job!

Hehe, maybe he was circling because he thought you were a potential meal :P Great tactic to get a fantastic shot! I like the composition and the detail of the hawk/bird. Nice work!
