Hi Alison
This is a very nice feeling that you remeber peace after a long time .
Now I can say you capture all the incedence and events and remember them in your mind even if it is a bug :))
Many thanks and regards

As James said this is a departure from your norm! I do like it though (you should do a few more - tis is really good!). I love the colours of the bug, the shallow DOF and the slight incline of the main elements of the image. Superb!!!

My guess is it's a Box Elder Beetle. They're thick here now. You have to brush them off the door before coming inside or the house will be full of them. Nice macro!

Very nice macro, Alison! Very well seen to get these two bugs together. I wonder if it's a family affair? Nicely done!
Dave.

Hehehe, so out of charecter for you Alison:)but a very good capture. LOL, the bug shots are a bit hard to do, dont you say? Especially when you need to deal with the wind etc. You did good here, a little soft, but I'm proud of what you've uploaded. Great work,

Jim
