Hi Gayle, I took a look at a bunch of shots, and they all seem good. The colors here look saturated, but natural. Let me have a look through some more...

Circles, diagonals, verticals... blaze orange and grey... you've managed a very interesting and pleasing composition, Gayle. And you handled the light perfectly. -Tim

Nice selective focus Gayle, I like the diagonal, the repeating boxes, the contrasting textures, and the blur in the background...the vibrant colors are beautiful...a lovely and festive image....very well done...Linda

You should take a shot of a big line of kids in front of a club and call it "Waiting to GET faced" - hehehe. See, just a little twist changes EVERYTHING. Like the shallow DOF and the composition. Halloween's coming? I gotta dry clean my Michael Jackson costume (real high pitch) - he he.......

Actually there is a huge pumkin patch right behind my house here, and every year I get to watch the kids and parents come and pick them. Anyway :) I really have not been by your portfolio in awile. I see you are posting some really great photos. This one is exceptional, I really like the sequence of nice yellow pumpkins starting off with in nice detail and slowly falling off from the nice use of DOF, very nice perspective, The selective focus worked very well here. really nice as all your photos which always seem to pack a litte extra. Take Care.. Marcus.

Hi Gayle,
well lol on the title! so the pumpkins are faceless unless they get formed by life, making their appeareance, getting different? nice idea =)
for me, this creates some hunger for pumpkin soup =)
best wishes, Thilo

Wonderful Gayle! I am hoping to be in Tucson for Halloween if everythings o.k. here (or kind of o.k. here!) I'll be visiting my little grandson Runie and I think we may get a pumpkin and decorate him. These are wonderful, your capture of them is beautiful!

Hi Gayle
I like your use of selective focus it is really effective and is evidence that not everything in an image has to be sharp.
I like the viewpoint but I may have been tempted to tilt the camera a bit more to emphasize the angle of the receding pumpkins.
I like the exposure the dark backgrounds adds to the 3d feel of the image.
