Kind of a dark theme, reminiscent of a horror novel. It's very effective.

It's terrifying to think of what lies behind that door. Three locks seems quite excessive which means to me that it is something with a lot of strength. Spooky~

Hi Neil,
thanks for the feedback. The funniest thing is that we never shoot together ;-) (although it may happen someday). But you're very right: It's great to see other guys from your hometown that go out and shoot interesting subject.
thanks for the feedback, Thilo

Another very well done tribute Thilo! You seem to have a real knack for paying homage with your images. It seems every one is quite flattered to be included in your project. Once again I have to say thanks to you for doing this. It really was a great idea! I hope you are having as much fun creating these as we are viewing them. Andre

Well I don't know about the beast, I have only one beast and he only acts up when I'm hungry, hahahaha, growls and makes me and everyone else miserable, hahaha...perhaps I need a bigger lock...I LOVE this image Thilo, the textures, lighting and composition are wonderful...a nice diagonal, and the vignette compliments it perfectly, I'd frame this one, it's just wonderful...nice work...Linda

Hi Thilo, nice photo for Ursula! I bet you two do have a laugh... going around the city and shooting the same things... BUT with different eyes and techniques. That's what makes it interesting. All the best, Neil

Thilo, when I first saw the title I supected at once that you meant me...<:-))) Do you remember my pic with the title 'the beast in me '? And you can trust that I would have shot this interesting ,locked door...first with my cam..and then to free the beast.Let it free, as it would creep out anyway... somewhen .. :) Ich sehe Dich vor mir...grinsen...und ich muß es auch...schon die ganze Zeit :) Herzlichen Dank für die gelungene Überraschung...ganz nach meinem Geschmack ! Liebe Grüße,Ursula PS:Favorit natürlich...love the hidden Holga beast!
