Thanks, Mike! Your critiques are always thought provoking, helpful, and really appreciated! Like you, I've been "hit and miss" the past few months. I find it very difficult to find the time to participate on UF on a daily basis, these days. I've been away for about a week, and am gratified at all of the comments that you left me. The sky IS post-processed...darkened towards the edges, and also a spotlight effect coming in from the foreground. Thank you for the time that you take in giving your excellent input. ...Brad

Brad, I like the colors and perspective. I?m wondering if you enhanced the background in post processing or if that was the actual sky, ether way, it looks great. I think what gives this the most impact is the absence of the face in the shadows, it?s eerie! The title is a bit disturbing also, it captures that frightening sort of feeling most cemeteries give off, that after life morbid depressing sort of sensation. It?s hard for me to put into words.. I like it, it?s a great contribution to your cemetery series. The only critique I can come up with is that I think a more dramatic sky might have made more chilling, cloudy with ethereal light, storm clouds or whatever. .... I?ve been away for awhile.. Comments on your asylum series are to come... ~ Mike

Makes me think of knowledge, how inviting it sounds...but with it comes side effects. I find myself wanting to reach out, but a part of me is wise to its intention. While I am not scared of the being itself, I am afraid of what it has to offer. Nicely done, great mood, well done~
