Wonderful colors. Why moorland? I didn't know the Moors went all the way to Britain.

Stunning result of your "sky surgery" - no objection, but most often I see a mismatch of color temperature in sky and land in such composites. Sky and land dont fit perfectly together in this regard (not a major issue, but I would love to see the perfect illusion...)

Cheers

Carsten

Love the saturated reds of the heather and the grass, the composition is perfect.
I did wonder where the reflection in the foreground puddles came from!? ;~}

Kev you still have that halo where you put in the new sky.It does not look natural with it.

Kevin ... nicely done. It's a shame when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, causing you to add the more interesting sky.
Althoug it would be an entirely different image, had you considered working with the natural "bland" sky, and creating a moody black & white image, as another view of your shot?
Congrats.
Mark
