Food shots are hard to create... it's a challenge to end up with food that looks more appetizing on film than in real life. The light glare on the cheese makes the food look a bit greasy, so maybe try diffusing the light to you don't get hot spots. As well, I'm not sure if you've tried it, but placing an amber gel over the lights casts a warm glow to the food, bringing out highlights. (this could be the case with different foods, though... not sure if it works on everything!) But hey, I'm not an expert! hahahaha
