It was a good outing, and I'm sure I'll be out for more sometime soon. What I enjoy of photography is the element of surprise... you never know really what you'll encounter and how it'll turn out. That's all part of the fun too :0)

I found what made this shot was the wake of the water behind the bird. I took a number of different shots, and this is what seemed to work well for me. Glad to see you enjoyed it!

This was taken with my William Optics Megrez telescope. It's an 80mm aperture (480mm focal length) at f/6.

They say that you should leave lots of room for the moving object to move into. However this photo proves the rules wrong. Nothing wrong with doing things well, against the grain. Overall a creative image, well done.
