It is very interesting / I am extremely fascinated that we have the same habits. I have been doing the same shot in Hong Kong. It is a busy city so the water is much filthier and the colors is more of reflections of buildings. What you have there is very interesting to me. I think I will look into visiting the country side to look for this type of reflections. Excecpt it is tropical here so we don't get as much colors in the country. My mother did similiar shots on a lake near the Grand Canyon and when I saw the red rocks in reflection I jumped. Congrats again - Alvin

Thanks Alvin for your comments. This was taken a little spot that I've studied through many seasons and years. The way the water flows and the surroundings, all lend itself unlimited visual possibilities. And the neat thing is, you'll never be able to capture the same image twice. It changes all the time. That's why I like to return there for new perspectives. Again, thanks for your input.

It is a very wonderful eye sight you have. Did you find this by chance? Or was it achieved after a long search?
Guess from your impressive porfolio, You have probably been searching for images everyday anyway, right?

Ingrid - this one is even better than the award winning one! The colors are more varied and brighter, and the water ripples are creating a more definitive pattern. The top right portion of this shot almost looks like mother of pearl. Different day and time, blue sky, sunshine, and a slight breeze allowed you to create a work of magic. Well seen - great shot! Ingrid -- This is a nice series of images. I prefer this one (slightly) to the prior, given that green and blue are my favorite colors and this image has a nice mix of green and blue. I also like the original image (w/the tree trunk bottoms) due to the multi-layering of reflected color bands and their interplay w/shade and reflected sky. In fact, I think that one may be my favorite of the three. Nice vision.
