Yes, it is the digital back. Yes it was expensive but in truth not much more if any, than the new Nikon DSLR top model. It does hurt to have to cut down a 3700 pixel wide image to fit into usefilm's 800 slot! So far I like it although I told the L rep that their manual is almost as bad as a Japanese computer manual. The proof will be in the prints. cheers - JB

Priceless! Beautiful shot, John. Does DMR stand for the new digital back for the R9? If so, how do you like it? The Japanese mags were united in saying it had unique advantages but was grossly overpiced. But then they would, wouldn't they...
