About: Hi Everyone,

I began taking photographs when I was 19, but at the time, only film was available. The expense and huge learning curve eventually took it's toll, and I stopped taking photos for almost 20 years.

And voila! We enter a new millennium, and along with it comes at-home digital processing, saving lots of time and expense. I am now well into my hobby again, and able to learn a fair amount on my own. However, I greatly appreciate the input of more skilled and experienced photographers.

So, I am just a neophyte. Any and all comments are appreciated. I really want to learn the subtle art and science of taking great photographs.
