About: I've liked taking pictures all my life but I never really considered it seriously. I just took snapshots and to a large extent I still do. However, digital photography has allowed me to explore photography in a way that I've never been able to before. Over the last year and a half I have begun to think about composition/lighting/subjects much more than I ever have before. Its amazingly easy to take a picture and amazingly difficult to translate what you see to a photo. To me, photography is about exploration and communicating how I see the world to others. Also, it gives me a creative outlet which I think is essential in anyone's life.
