Hi Rahim - great color and composition here (three areas of attention). The boat feels small and lonely. Nice shot.

I really enjoy your work. This one caught my eye because rich tones and contrast draw your attention to the foreground. The buildings going up the hillside might dominate the shot, but they don't because they're suffused. Really good balance here. I do think the boat in extreme f.g. adds visual confusion -- I might crop it and let the boat behind the men become more of an "anchor." (!)

Oleg - your portrait work (I think) is among the best on UF. Technically and artistically outstanding. Your use of light is very distinctive, and I admire it. Thanks for posting such great images. -- Ned

Excellent photo, Robert! I like it for its simplicity of design and color, and also the "capture" of the cat profile. Your sense of color and design is wonderful. Congratulations. -- Ned

Simply incredible! One of the best skies I've ever seen, and technically a perfect photo! Congrats.

Oh, great shot! I like the grain and the darkness to a lot of your work... this one's a good capture with great mood. - regards, Ned

Hi David -- you do excellent work! Your street photos are compelling and finely done. This shot is very cool -- isolating, lonely, a little menacing.

Another fine street shot! The photo has a cold, gray feeling... Nice capture.

Good shot -- love the tonality of clouds, mountains and water. The telephone wire is a distraction, but they're everywhere and hard to avoid... Good photo. - Ned

Great color here, Sergio, and excellent DoF work -- the sharp detail in the railings looks great in front of the soft-focused pastel sky. Very nice!

Hi Gunluk -- this is terrific composition! The empty space really works to emphasize isolation (and grubbiness). I really like your street work -- keep it up. (Sorry about the Tamas Kovacs mixup...)

Thanks for telling the story, and it really helps frame the picture (the gun looks real to me, but I'm no expert). The emotion's still there -- but I feel much better about these kids now! For contrast, and a picture that to me is extremely sad, see image # 839651 by Kovac Tomas.

All best wishes -- Ned

Hi Abhra -- another passionate shot, well-framed and full of interest. Very good from a moving vehicle! I'd love to see if it's possible to lighten the faces (also with Road Block)... it would help I think. -- Best, Ned

An amazing photo. It would be good to have you tell the story of how it happened: did you come upon them by accident, or do you know them? Either way, the gun is no joke, and a sad contrast to the Harry Potter tee shirt.

No, I think it's part of the effect you want, the two sharp angles of bright blue light -- it really defines the photo. The bright flare in the center of the reflection looks good, I think.
