About When Carole came home from hospital following her recent operation she was given a leaflet telling her what she could and couldn?t do. It had sections on ?rest and exercise?, ?walking?, ?stairs?, ?diet? and ?driving?, but the section I was most interested in was the one headed ?housework?! It said, and I quote?

?Have a rest for the first two weeks you are at home. However, you can make a cup of tea, help with washing-up, dusting and easy house-hold jobs, etc. ? Four weeks after your operation: Gradually do more household jobs, e.g. using the vacuum cleaner?cooking, ironing, until by six weeks you are back to normal?? That?s this Wednesday!! Yippee!!

The only thing the leaflet didn?t mention was mowing! Clearly it needs rewriting! I?ll send them a suggestion!

This shot was taken at Montacute House where Carole gallantly managed quite a walk ~ and also took some pictures with her excellent little Fuji!!

I have made some wonderful friends here on UF, both male and female, but this one is especially dedicated to the ladies who so often enter into the spirit of my feeble attempts at humour and come back at me with their own wit and repartee.

Have an excellent day!!

Best reagrds to all,

Chris

Ohhhhhhhh Chris!
Thank YOU!!! what a lovely rose... warm Dedication, outstanding PS work and increadible "About" that really put a smile on my face!

Glad Carole is back to her normal Life and doing chores is part of our living in an healthy environment... she is lucky she has You!!!
i could feel Your deep concern when she was at the Hospital and all... when she went to her Mom's, i could barely hear You saying
"I miss YOU, Carole!"!!!
This is precious, Chris.... and in my humble terms of Human understanding, these are all manifests of "LOVE"!
Congratulations, my Friend... for the wonderful Family You have... for the long rides with Your son to the airport when You bring back to us some amazing StoneHenge and all those photographs, so we can smile to see that You were always taking time off Your busy Life to come say "hi" to each and every one of us here at UseFilm, who gradually learn to admire Your talented work, Your sweet and encouraging positive Criticism, Your skilful PS Tutorial, Your wonderful humour and teaching us some more "word" games that locals would get it right away... and Your delicate and dramactic Portfolio that always has wonderful surprises each time we come visit You!
my Compliments, Chris!!!
Carole is lucky she has You and we are lucky we have met You and found a place in Your heart to build healthy Friendship bonds!

Chris: Your presence here makes UseFilm an unique place to interact!!!

with gratitude,
Regi

Hm.. :-/ Humour?? wellll... perhaps.. ;-)
I understand your humour... often your words make me smile, but sometimes I deny understanding it, when it's getting too silly!
Have a great day..and thanks for sharing all your lovely photos...
Keep smiling and keep being silly... I'll do the same..
:-)

Merete, don't worry!! I'm really not as bad a man as my little 'about' made me sound!!

My wife IS a wonderful woman ~ and she knows it, because I tell her frequently! And after 27 years of marriage I guess she doesn't think I'm all that bad either! :-)

Hopefully you'll soon get used to my slight off-beat sense of humour!

Thanks for your comments ~ I look forward to them almost as much as I look forward to you images!

Best regards, Chris

Hm... :-/
Sad to hear you have problems with householding..!! It would have been a huge problem for you if you didn't had a wonderfull wife who did things for you. A pity that you would be all lost..and it's certainly a pity that you don't feel happy about doing what's neccerssary in life! I hate householding... but I know that I have some obligations..otherwise I shouldn't be living with my loving family, but in a cave somewhere desert!!! I didn't deserve to be a part of any community...
So... ;-)
Thanks for the flower... and keep up the good work with the vacuumcleaner :-)

I was having a bite of my cheese roll when I came to the last line in your first paragraph. Almost required a Heimlich Manouvre! Now that I have wiped the remnants off the computer screen, I can comment on your delightful artwork :-)

Thank you for the ppppppink dedication! :-)
I love your frame - the gradients work well ... specially if you want a cheap thrill! By scrolling it up and down real fast, it delivers as good as Prozac!

Great news that Carole is up and (almost) vacuuming :-) If the lawn needs mowing, then maybe it's time to invite the MIL over again? Oops! :-))

You have a great day too Mr S - I'm very pleased to see you dug the old sense of humour up again - I've been missing it!

Mrs C :-)

Thanks, Stephen!! I'll take your advice!! :-)
Too bad you can't make the UF date! We've still to hear from a number of the guys. If more can't make it than can we'll need to think again.
Best regards, Chris

Lovely photo Chris and excellent PS work. I love your about. I would staple it to your marriage licence, use a wonder marker on the relevant portions then stand well back ... and far out of range as a can of baked beans hurts on the back of the noggin ;-)
