My favourite from this series.. the depiction of movement is present here artistically,both in a realistic way and in a way highly imaginable (the shadow)! A strong antithesis that balances the whole image, basing its harmony on the simplicity of the depiction. A nice capture concerning materialization of the artistic drive as coming out of your "personality filter"!

Yes Patrick it's another interesting point of view.
I like shadows and lights, reflection of the texture onto the blade.
The strenght points are the shadows holes.

Very nice lighting, exposure and how you lined the knife point up with the corner of the shot to help lead the eye into the shot.

At first I wasn't really into this image. But the more I look at it, the more I like. It seems to resemble a butterfly with the knife and its shadow along with the holes for the "dots" on the wings. Wonderfully creative thinking~

This is just great .. lovely texture and diagonal composition .. great shadow working .. really a "cutting" photo ! Little minus: the "spot" on the left is distracting .. Regards, Peter
