Thanks, Brigitte, The clouds were great except only to the north. To the south was a humongous storm for most of the day that eventually spoiled sunset.

Thanks Gary. It was a double edge sword with those clouds. Nice to have them instead of the normal blank sky but... come sundown.... there was none because they had turned into a massive thunderstorm.

John.... thanks so much.. I have to agree about the canyon color, unfortunately this was taken well after sundown.... and the colors were gone. 20 minutes before, the canyon walls were spectacularly lit and shadowed both. But, no captures of the lightning during that light.

Gorgeous shot, love the fishing poles as the foreground, not something I've seen anyone do before.

Phew. I don't even know where to begin to get this. You threw me with that "high speed sync" comment... I am going to assume you are talking sync flash? Is this some type of special flash? I wasn't kidding, I want to play with this, it is so cool....

What Roger Skinner said: "none of them spoke at all highly of George Bush... so I dont get it.. how did he get to be president and then so many americans stood by and did nothing whilst he had the troops invade.."

I don't get it either. There should be outrage here but there is none. I think we are all scared in one form or another. Some of us afraid of our own government, others fear from the propaganda our government and media spread. You are all supposed to be evil. I know better.

Peace, brother. 6 more months. I hope we make it.

When I saw the title, all I could see was "children affected by W"... I thought you were talking about children affected by "W", the illustrious George W. Bush... of course, you very well could have been, since he is Mr. Warmonger.

Only 6 more months of this insanity!!!
