Desert Blu, we don't have moose in South Africa, so it must be a buffalo!

Hi Michael, thanks for your comment on my Ferrari image, and welcome to UF. Guess you don't have much time to compose an image like this! Glad you had the courage to take the picture. Do you have any photo editing software like Photoshop or PS Elements, because with them you can make significant improvements such as in my attachment? Did you see my (tongue in cheek) image: http://www.usefilm.com/image/446106.html

Both are very nice, but this image is my pick. Maybe because it is closer and the flowers show more definition.

Nice play on shadows and textures. I wouldn't straighten the horizontals because they appear slightly curved due to the wide angle lens used.

Thanks Aliyar. I also thought it would have been better with a bird or something as a point to focus on, because the eye tends to wander back and forth without settling down. I'll remember that in future.

Teunis, I have noticed that there is quite a lot of background noise which I have reduce in the attachment by using a "Super Smooth" filter in PS. Regards, Robert

Hi Emgy, Linn and I had to search hard for some nice reflections in the city. There are not many tall buildings close to each other, so most reflect only the sky :-( , and when there were interesting reflections, the glass was too flat to give abstract distortions. Are you up and about now? Hugs, Robert

Wonderful image and reflection and another nice picture in your series of country houses.
(I have a few questions about the house: Is the water level supposed to be that high? Do they have a problem with rising damp? Do you have mosquitos in Holland? :-)

Chris, you have a herd of Arabian Oryx, they are similar to our fawn coloured Gemsbok (Oryx). Now you can see why we don't have "running of the bulls" in Africa! These animals must think they are in heaven, because they are usually found in the desert or very dry scrubland.
