Desert Blu, we don't have moose in South Africa, so it must be a buffalo!

Hi Michael, thanks for your comment on my Ferrari image, and welcome to UF. Guess you don't have much time to compose an image like this! Glad you had the courage to take the picture.
Do you have any photo editing software like Photoshop or PS Elements, because with them you can make significant improvements such as in my attachment?
Did you see my (tongue in cheek) image:

Both are very nice, but this image is my pick. Maybe because it is closer and the flowers show more definition.

Nice play on shadows and textures. I wouldn't straighten the horizontals because they appear slightly curved due to the wide angle lens used.

Stephen, you seem to be a master at stopping the drop. This is my favourite because of the colour and small details. Great use of depth of field!

Nice subject and composition, and I like the misty effect over the sea. (Nits have been dealt with by previous comments).

Thanks Aliyar. I also thought it would have been better with a bird or something as a point to focus on, because the eye tends to wander back and forth without settling down. I'll remember that in future.

Teunis, I have noticed that there is quite a lot of background noise which I have reduce in the attachment by using a "Super Smooth" filter in PS.
Regards, Robert

Another superb closeup of our little friends. Thanks for sharing the setup info (it will come in handy when Linn eventually gets her D70!)

The king looks a bit worried about how his photo is going to turn out, but it looks fine and the crop is very good.

Hi Emgy, Linn and I had to search hard for some nice reflections in the city. There are not many tall buildings close to each other, so most reflect only the sky :-( , and when there were interesting reflections, the glass was too flat to give abstract distortions. Are you up and about now? Hugs, Robert

Chris, I've looked right, left and right again and I can't find the pink rose. Regarding your other problem, try counting the straps on their white coats :-)

Wonderful image and reflection and another nice picture in your series of country houses.

(I have a few questions about the house: Is the water level supposed to be that high? Do they have a problem with rising damp? Do you have mosquitos in Holland? :-)

Chris, you have a herd of Arabian Oryx, they are similar to our fawn coloured Gemsbok (Oryx). Now you can see why we don't have "running of the bulls" in Africa! These animals must think they are in heaven, because they are usually found in the desert or very dry scrubland.

Jeroen, I don't think I will try that, this image of the driveway is getting a bit worn out with all the traffic!

Thanks, Guido. I got the "possible ice on road" warning from the cars onboard computer early this morning! Last time that happened was when I drove past a fountain 3 years ago on a winter morning.

Super shot, Maura. My only suggestion is you might want to clone the pole/tree in the background which could be a bit distracting

Oh boy! Emgy is back in form again, and you'll keep us wondering what minute detail you have found to keep us fascinated. Nice "sea creatures" you found here, slipping over the edge into blackness. Warm regards, Robert
