Thanks ever so much for the kind comments Alistair, I have had this image for some months, not knowing what effect i was after.. I was looking for a Parisien impression when i stumbled across this technique in Photoshop.. It took about 2 hours building different layersthen merging and cutting portions from each layer unti i had achieved the effect,, now you know why i prefer mono images..

great use of the landscape format in a portrait.. by cropping the hairline it emphasises the eyes,, its a David Bailey trick in many of his male portraits..
