I like the effects, bring out a faded look. The tones go with it too. Beautiful shot!

Hey, I've just uploaded a nightshot of a brdge too, different bridge though, are you copying me Lorraine? lol

I like this, I think the millenium bridge does make a wonderful subject too, I must take my camera with me next time I'm in Newcastle.

Nice capture

Your pal,

Pete

Thanks for you nice comment Pete. I did the poppies as an experiment as I felt the picture lacked a little something. I think I did it the hard way but I got there in the end!

I don't know the exact name but its the monument at the foot of the Ben Nevis mountain range. It was very moving being there and I felt it worked better in black and white. Thank you for your comment.

Lorraine, Is this the monument to the Commandos and U S Rangers at Achnacarry. I find it rather moving whatever it is.

Hi Lorraine,

I don't think I've seen you shoot in B&W before. I really like this one. I will be starting to upload images again and have some b&w to use too.

Take care,

Pete

Oh man this is awesome! I absolutely love it, it is one of my favorites! The wispy clouds are amazing and I love the coloring! Did you change any of the coloring? I wish I could have seen it in person, but you did a nice job bringing it to us! When I see stuff like this in person it reminds so much of how God's the greatest artist and doesn't even need photoshop! Haha, excellent work capturing this!
