I love the mood, and the story the picture is telling, the same material, but in different ways. I love the choice of B&W, but I dislike the flash-reflection, especially on the first picture.

The desaturation and the mirroring really created a superb picture from what would otherwise only be a rather dull tree... Very well seen!!!

Great picture with very nice colors, although I find the background a bit distracting, I really like it.

Honestly, at first I disliked the dark left upper corner, but watching it a little longer, and getting used to the not very saturated colors, I started to get the feel you wanted to put into this picture. Then I remembered the title, and I really got it... Great picture Paolo!!! Suits the time of the year...

Good composition, and you've seen the good contrasting colors very well.. The kites don't seem to be pinsharp, or is that due to compression? Overall a very nice picture!

Great picture Darlene, the colors are very vivid, and the bird is incredibly sharp. Seperating it from the background worked very well with the selective DOF. One little disadvantage is the leaf which is hiding its one paw.

Mooie vlinder, en mooie foto... Ik heb zelf ook een paar foto's van dit exemplaar, maar dan vanuit de vlindertuin in Knokke (Belgie).

Love the effect... qt first I thought it could use a little more contrast, but on the other hand, that is a big part of the feel of the image. Great shot... Think it would be nice in sepia too...
BTW: How do you like the 5D?

Pose, model and location are simply great, same as the technique, only the shadows on her face are bit distracting (yes, I actually looked at her face!!!! ;-) ). Maybe some fill flash or a reflector would help?

Actually, I like the white background, it gives the veil more brillance, and gives the overal picture a more high key effect, which suits this picture very well. As for the face, I like the feel she has to it, and that it adds to the picture.

reddish colorcast, high contrast, alot of grain, and overal softness in the picture... But I've seen your other work, and know you are good... Plus, this is obviously a rockband, and then the pieces of the puzzle all fit... you created an atmosphere here, and that really fits the subject. I can see this picture being used as the cover of their new album.

Great portrait Michael, love the twinkles in his eyes, and the cute smile on his face. The selective DOF works very well here. The choice of natural light is great, adds alot of feel and life to the portrait.

It is undeed a very unusual position, never seen it before either, but it is a very nice piece, and I am glad that the picture worked out this well.
Thanks for your comment!!!

Great portfolio, and this is a great example of that. You have terrific still-lifes. Added you to my friends list. Hope to learn alot from you. I am wondering how much PS is in this picture, and what you used as lighting.

Very nice pose, and very pleasing expressions you captured here. Not sure about the tight crop on top and bottom, and in general I like the colors a little more saturated. However, this is of course personal taste.

Hele mooie foto, je hebt echt een heel goed oog, zoals je het goed gezien had om de tak als voorgrond te gebruiken! Proficiat!

Great colors, the silhouettes are very well done, and the lamp indeed creates a great balance.

Very good abstract. Love the colors, the shapes and the detail in the few objects that are in the frame. Great picture! Deserves an award, at least one that mentions how you can achieve more with less!

Great picture Mark, technically, it is blown out near the pillar, but that is just one of the things that make this a great picture. Very nice pose too, and the softness and the soft sepia effect really finish this picture.

Love the colors and the especially the composition. It does have a lot of grain/noise. Is it due to some processing?

Very nice image Neil, I love the colors and the seagull's silhouette, however, I find the dark strip on the right a bit distracting.

Very nice portrait with great colors and details. Flash is a bit too 'deer in the headlights', too many highlights in her face, but still ok. Good shot!
