Hi Marcus. This is an intriguing image -- not at all typical -- unusual to see the egret hunkered down like this with a sense of the breeze in the plumage. Beautiful work.

Marcus, I should have included the foreground in my previous comment as well. The whole image goes together perfectly. Andre

This one is really beautiful Marcus! The background is just perfect as far as I'm concerned! The main subject is clear and crisp and the different layers of background colour all compliment the main subjet so that there is no fighting for attention or "clutter" in the image to distract. Great job on this one! Andre

Thanks Linda, The 40D has alot going for it, and also many bugs, I always seem to buy the newest model as soon as it comes out and in this case, bad idea, This is of course for what I shoot, I think 90 percent of shooters would love the new model, but It does have some AF accuracy problems while panning in AI-Servo...

Thanks bill, well to be honest he was actually uphill from me or at a upward angle, shooting at 640 EFL there is a LOT of forground getting cropped off, even more with the 40D and the 10mp, Ill leave the belly shots for Yamil :) Thanks again..

Great shot Marcus...! The overall posture of the Egret is right in tune with the title... Looks like you were down on your belly to capture this angle...True or False?? Love the frozen water off his web feet...
Cheers,
Bill
