About	This weekend was the first real winter precipitation in GA this season. We don't get weather like this very often and while I am sure you've seen hundreds of pictures of ice, my facination with it was virtually endless. This is my first time shooting ice, actually, so any suggestions are welcome. PS: Converted to greyscale Sharpened Toned increased contrast

Lovely shot. I am always mentioning my love of the shallow depth of field and this picture is certainly helped by this technique, making the icicles really stand out against what would otherwise be quite a distracting background. I think you've done the right thing converting to greyscale, putting emphasis on the beautiful shapes and textures visible.
