Patrick when I first looked at it, I thought it was a bit dark, [I tend to lighten things a little too much] but when I looked at it, on my screen and had a bit of a play - the more I appreciated your tones. But once I had it up I did a bit of a rotate to see if it felt as though you were toppling over more with that dizzying spiral. Anyway being as I had fun with it, I thought I would let you see too, but I do like yours - looks like you had a lot of fun in this tower

Even though I've climbed trees and sat on a roof of a building, viewing this image makes me feel a bit afraid of heights. It can be quite dizzying, especially with the twisting staircases. I find it quite interesting that it starts out as stone and ends up in metal. I would like to see this done as a horizontal shot excluding the window. Nice series~

I'll cross my legs for you....hehehehe!!! All you really need to do is alter the shutter speed. If you can practise doing that with your fingers without removing the camera from your face then you will be able to do it. Just hold your breath for the shot...this will mean less movement. Some people prefer to breath out before the shot...it is up to you.
Now this photo has just given you a challenge...are you up to it?

Might be abit tricky... I was standing in such a horrible position that it will be impossible for me to change anything on the camera while holding it at the same spot. Ill do me best though! hehe

Thank you Jeanette for your comment! It sure is a nice find.. coolest part is that a privateperson owns this tower and lives in it.. there is a house looking a old castle (mini castle) in the side of the tower.. 2 or 3 levels high (dont remember).. and there she (i think so) lives.

Hey that's great. Considering the angle you had to take it, a tripod is out of the question. So try to be ready with what you are going to do before you take the shot. Take exactly two shots without moving the camera at all. Any movement on the cameras part will make it difficult to line them up later. Okies sweetie. Take care.

Im glad you like the image! =) And yes.. i agree with the window. Didnt want to skip this image though for the window.. im going there today to try to redo it and make it better. The idea with 2 shots was nice.. havent thought of that..ill try it for sure! =) I wouldnt be mad for any honest comments! *hugs*

Whoa...you are making me too giddy. I really love this shot. There is only one area that I think could be improved, and I want you to take this as helpful not nitpicking, as I never want to nit pick you, just help.
If you are using a tripod, then take two exposures. One with the same setting as this image and the other with the exposure set on the window and the glare. Then overlay the images to get the balance of the window and still the light shining into the stairwell.
I hope that helps.
