Beautiful colors and composition. On my screen there appears to be some distortions, especially in the sky. I'm wondering if you uploaded it at 800 pixels wide rather than 750? I did that on my last post and the usefilm resize murdered it.

Moody indeed -- startling image, sharp contrasts of buildings, the very peculair sky,the hills that seem to go forever. Hardly run of the mill!

6429 in 7.5 hours? The things you learn at UF! Congrats for that, and for a landscape so full of character. I like the pattern of walls and barns, and the moody colours. With best wishes for the New Year, John

The sunlight in the foreground and the ominous sky really add up to a powerful shot. Nice work.

I love the stone fences. i'm actually a teacher in henry county, kentucky, and a few years ago a student and I did a photo-essay on kentucky's stone fences. the contstruction seems identical, which makes sense. we found out that irish stonemasons were responsible for most of the stone fences in kentucky, primarily in the bluegrass region. they are disappearing now due to urban expansion, but there are efforts going on to save them.
great landscape!
