What a gorgeous flower this is. Hope I get to see one sometime!
Love how the light is coming through the flower, as though it's glowing from within. And the sharp details are marvelous.

Wonderful delicate bloom among those hard spines of the catus! Super details, great lighting, perfect exposure (which is quite hard on those white petals!!!) and good composition... well captured!! The only thing I'm not too keen on is the frame... its a bit distracting and 'interfering' with some of the lower petals, IMHO that's a shame because the flower is the real star here....

What a beauty. Details are sharp and the white petals are perfection. Do like the way that you have the sunlight coming though some of the petals and the composition is super. Thanks for your comments on my recent florals. PS - Tossed this in to my favorites right away! Jan

I like your lighting here, Don, with the way the stamen are highlighted against the shaded part of the petals. Very good detail, as well.
